Tomoyo Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing questions are handled for Tomoyo.

Overview

Tomoyo is a digital service. Because access to digital features may be provided immediately after purchase, refunds are handled according to the terms below, unless a different written policy is shown at checkout or required by law.

Our goal is to be fair and clear. If something looks wrong with your billing, please contact us so we can review it.

Subscriptions

If Tomoyo offers paid subscriptions, you may cancel your subscription at any time.

  • Cancel anytime: Canceling stops future renewals.
  • Access after cancellation: You will generally keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • No automatic prorated refunds: We generally do not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
  • Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

Founder and early-access purchases

Founder plans, early-access offers, lifetime-style access, badges, recognition, or limited-access benefits may be treated differently from standard monthly subscriptions.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, Founder and early-access purchases are generally non-refundable once access, recognition, or other benefits have been granted.

Important: Founder purchases do not represent ownership, equity, investment rights, voting rights, profit sharing, or any security interest in Tomoyo or Yuuyoo Consulting LLC.

Billing errors

If you believe you were charged by mistake, charged the wrong amount, or charged after canceling, contact us as soon as possible. We will review the issue and, when appropriate, correct the charge or issue a refund.

Please include the email address on your account, the date of the charge, and a brief description of the issue.

Free trials and promotions

If Tomoyo offers a free trial, discounted plan, promotional offer, or beta access, the specific terms shown with that offer will apply.

Unless otherwise stated, you are responsible for canceling before the trial or promotional period ends if you do not want to be charged.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are typically returned to the original payment method through our payment processor. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, card network, bank, or financial institution.

We do not control the exact timing once a refund has been submitted to the payment processor.

Legal exceptions

Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law. If the law requires a refund or other remedy, we will follow the law.
